TruckStops® Routing System Version 2.5 Released

ARLINGTON, VA - December 18, 2000 - MicroAnalytics announces the release of version 2.5 of TruckStops Routing and Scheduling System, which contains several notable enhancements to the system, allowing users even more flexibility in generating the most efficient routes for their operation.

Data import capabilities have been expanded to include MS Excel and enhanced to make the import process even easier than before. The TruckStops' user-friendly import wizard was introduced last year and has significantly reduced time users spend bringing data into the system.

MicroAnalytics' development team also streamlined the relationship between the users' server and the execution key required to run TruckStops on the multi-user network environment. TruckStops' network version has been available since January 2000, giving multiple users access to the routing program through local area networks on 95/98/NT and Windows 2000.

Multiple capabilities were also added for users to access more features of PC*MILER® and PC*MILER/STREETS®. TruckStops contains a seamless interface to ALK Associates' product line to allow users access a road network and other useful features included in ALK products. Available for Windows® 95/98/NT/00, TruckStops can be used either dynamically, for scheduling vehicles on routes that change daily, or strategically, for planning and updating fixed delivery routes.
