TruckStops® Route Scheduling Software Version 2.8 Adds Open Database Connectivity

ARLINGTON, VA - May 14, 2002 - TruckStops® Routing and Scheduling Software version 2.8 adds open database connectivity to facilitate the flow of data from users’ enterprise systems into TruckStops. Open database connectivity (ODBC) is a widely accepted application programming interface for database access. TruckStops ODBC functionality lets users read and write data from their legacy systems and build the data sets needed for TruckStops to create least-cost/best-service route solutions.

Available for Windows® 95/98/ME/XP/NT/00, TruckStops can be used either dynamically, for scheduling vehicles on routes that change daily, or strategically, for planning and updating fixed delivery routes.
