TruckStops® Routing Software Expands Interface to Include PC*MILER 2000 Product Line

ARLINGTON, VA - August 30, 1999 -- TruckStops Routing & Scheduling System recently expanded its seamless interface with ALK Associate's PC*MILER product line to include the PC*MILER 2000 products. MicroAnalytics developed the TruckStops/PC*MILER interface in 1998 for users to be able to determine the optimum route sequence with TruckStops and then calculate the mileage and produce driving directions from PC*MILER.

"The enhanced interface puts the power of PC*MILER 2000, especially the street-level product, even more firmly in the hands of the TruckStops user," said Mike Hooban, President of MicroAnalytics.

The latest version of TruckStops also adds the ability to print headers and page numbers on the PC*MILER driving directions and introduces an Import Wizard that helps users import data from ASCII, text or Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

Available for Windows® 95/98/NT, TruckStops can be used either dynamically, for scheduling vehicles on routes that change daily, or strategically, for planning and updating fixed delivery routes.
