Pepsi-Cola General Bottlers Chooses TruckStops® Routing System

ARLINGTON, VA - April 17, 2000 — Pepsi-Cola General Bottlers (PCGB), headquartered in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, recently increased their use of TruckStops Routing and Scheduling System to nine of their 69 distribution centers in the Midwest.

PCGB has used a TruckStops system since 1997 at their Milwaukee, Wisconsin location and, based on that experience, decided to implement TruckStops at eight additional distribution locations across the Midwest. Plans are underway for further expansion of PCGB ’s use of TruckStops. Pepsi-Cola General Bottlers purchased the eight new TruckStops systems for use in their bulk delivery operations and may use it in the future for more dynamic delivery.
